Q. Does BrokerWorks design my web site? A. No. The website service gives you the tools to do it yourself easily and quickly. We have taken what we have learned about websites over the past 6 years of running BizBuySell and have translated that into a pre-designed website "skeleton." You'll select the layout, color scheme and type styles to customize the website.
Q. I already have a web site hosted by another company. Can I transfer my domain name to my BrokerWorks web site?A. Absolutely. Once you have signed up for the website service, we'll contact you to take care of the transfer details.
Q. What if I don't have a domain name?A. No problem. After ordering the BrokerWorks Professional Website Service, we will send instructions via email on how to register a domain name (e.g. acmebrokers.com) that will direct visitors to your website.
Q. Can I use HTML?A.Yes. If you are comfortable with using HTML codes, you can enter them directly into the web page text. But, you do not have to use HTML to create professional-looking webpages.
Q. Can I have pictures on my web site?A.Yes. The website tools we provide includes a file upload utility which enables you to upload photos, word documents, pdf files - practically any type of file - to your website. You can then use HTML coding to insert the photos into your webpages.
Q. Can I have my company logo on my web site?A.Yes. During the setup process for your website, we will place your company logo (that you will provide to us in GIF format) into your web page layout.
Q. Do you charge a maintenance fee?A. No. The $39 monthly fee covers the hosting of your site, as well as all the web tools you need for maintaining your webpages.
Q. Will my listings be available on my web site?A. Yes. You can insert on any of your webpages a search interface to your listings in your BrokerWorks account. You do not have to enter the same listings twice.
